Should I…
Charge for footage that captures an incident?
It’s my equipment that I invested in and maintain.
What’s it worth to someone to have the evidence that exonorates or finds guilt?

Really?!
The flip side and really the answer is, and its not a personal hit at the OP, how much would YOU (as the OP or A.N.Other) pay for some dash cam of an incident you may have been involved in, especially if it helped to avoid points or prison!
How about doing a good deed? I had a car accident a few years back and a good Samaritan stopped and gave me their contact details - end result is that it ensured it was a non-fault claim. They never asked for anything in return, nor should they.

nope, you’ll be assumed responsible for a claim as you’re a professional driver on amateur wages, just give up the SD Card
i could see this being a thing in the future the way our culture is going in this country.
What price could/would you put on keeping your licence??

You gotta think outside the box dude! The question you should be asking in the current climate is “what price will my employer pay in order for me to keep my licence?”
An incident you’re involved with or just happen to capture?
Nothing. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Just be a decent person and help someone out! It’s this selfish hostility that is a major problem with this country.

I would say most of the world

This ^. However, after noting the author of the post, I am not surprised one bit.
I would give it for free.
