I thought it was going to get better when they got rid of the toll booths.Seems to me that they’ve cocked it right up.Coming over the bridge is usually ok but heading for the tunnels is like a lottery,
I’ve found a lot of the time it’s because there’s drivers chancing it with adr or abnormal loads and they’re stopped to be pulled in. I was once due to over hang on my flat bed as the sensors were new and misjudged my length…or they like to stop the odd flip flop, add in the escorts and it can be a nightmare! It’s not that bad most of the time though only rush hour it’s gets bad, and they need to stop anything that looks like it shouldn’t be in the tunnel for any reason so it stops a major delay to be fair.
It’s because they close the west tunnel several times a day to ■■■■■■ tankers through. That’s why there’s always congestion going north and almost never going south. It’s unbelievable that they want to build another crossing further downstream when the obvious solution is another bridge at Dartford. Apparently there’s a plan to build a theme park where the southern bridge foot would go!

I think they should have Balloons to carry us across, southbound when the wind is blowing South & Northbound when it’s blowing North, probably be quicker some days !
& how much longer are they going to ■■■■ about with those Bloody Roadworks coming off the A13 onto the roundabout ?

It doesn’t matter which way you go round the M25 its always buggered. The whole left hand side of it, the M3, M4 and M40 section just grinds to a halt every morning afternoon.

The tanker ■■■■■■ doesn’t cost a lot of time and the theme park is nowhere near any planned crossing

Nope, it’s a fairly major junction & I’ve been caught a few times at different times of the day, should have known better coming out of Tilbury the other week, straight into the queue, so I stopped & had an hours sleep in the lay by just after getting on the 13, only to find it just as bad [emoji22]

Do what I do,get in the outside two lanes go to Wennington and double back,or for the bridge go along to purfleet and join,doesn’t always work but I’d rather keep moving.
