Motorists using the Dartford Crossing this week are being advised of overnight closures.
Routine safety and maintenance work by Highways England will see the east tunnel closed from 8.30pm to 5.30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
On Friday night the west tunnel will be closed from 8.30pm to 5.30am and the northbound entry slip at junction 1a for Swanscombe will also be closed from 9pm to 5.30am.
During the closure, a signed diversion will be in place via the A282 southbound to junction 1b.
Over the weekend, the west tunnel will be closed from 8.30pm to 5.30am.
While motorists will be able to use whichever tunnel is open during the closures, a fully signed diversion will be in place for any oversized vehicles during the east tunnel closures.
The northbound entry slip road at junction 1a will be closed overnight, between 9pm and 5.30am, on Saturday 6 May for two nights.
A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A282 southbound to junction 1b and return.
