I read today that due to a lightning strike on the bridge, and upon inspection it was found that the bridge was ok BUT one of the posts connected to the payment control units has been damaged, this is causing incorrect payments to be taken, some higher, and some lower, and some very erratic…so the bods are thinking of closing the bridge for 3 weeks to sort and rectify the problem…whether they actually will or not…who knows, but i believe that the bridge should remain open, as a free crossing until such times as the repairs are carried out fully ( well i actually believe we shouldnt have to pay in the first place ) but there you go, maybe theres more updates coming soon.
We shouldn’t be paying for it anyway as the bridge paid for its self some time ago.
Guarantee if they leave it open and free while repairs are on it’ll get done much quicker than 3 weeks!
Can’t see them closing it to be honest. Causes chaos if it’s shut for a couple of hours, 3 weeks would bring that entire section of the country to a standstill.
Some people believe anything lol

The same (satirical) news site also tells us that England have been thrown out of Euro 2016, the Queen has announced her retirement, a bloke has been jailed for abusing a harvester salad bar and that London tube and bus fares are to be scrapped from 2017…
