Will be slammed. It’s become a punch-up to get on it when Dartford’s stopped for what ever reason. The roundabout that turns directly into the ferry is grid-locked.
Yep, the alternative is to go all the way round the long way.

Long time ago, the southbound Blackwall would be utilised for two way running but I haven’t seen that happen for years now.

I assume you mean Woolwich ferry? It doesn’t run ivernight anyway and has a lower height restriction than the tunnel bore that would remain open.

The long way round doesn’t add that much time on its just physiologically a drag
