I will shortly be staring my training, has anyone any experience of the Darlington Test route(s)?
You will be probably training on them so you should be fine. All the best with it.

as ET said you will most likely to be taken on most if not all test routes you may encounter, if you know the area well enough it helps a lot, on my test i dont think i went on any road i had not already been on lessons , good luck. stay cool.
There is a few complex roundabouts in Darlington, those with 5 plus exits so read the signs carefully and plan your lane position well. Getting back into the test centre is not easy at the road junction is tight but its not that bad with a little practice. The town centre is pretty busy, full of clearways and the usual yellow boxes and keep clear markings so again read the markings, few two lane motorway sections so remember 56mph if you have blue signs - M road. Plenty of roundabouts to go at and its easy to pull out in front of a car causing them to slow, so approach carefully. Its not as easy a test centre as Walton that we use but keep your wits about you and hopefully you will pass.
