cheers lads cracking pics, one question did they go bust,or just jack it in

They changed their name to Translink Distribution Ltd, Then they went bust owing a lot of money to other hauliers, We were owed money for the back loads we got from them, Their traffic manager was a great bloke, He told me some time after when he was working for another haulage Co in Kirkaldy, Cant remember their name but the ran blue Mercs, That he turned up as usual for work only to find the gates were locked, A big shock to all who worked there, Regards Larry.

They ran a number of plain white Leylands on a contract they had with Whitworths dried fruits in Irthlingborough just before they finished.

I remember seeing this mob at British sugar in York around 88-89 with f reg leyland freighters More or less when is just started on 7.5 tonner at the ripe old age of 18  Jesus is it really near 30 years ago :open_mouth:

Seen at the Glamis Scottish Transport Extravaganza, a couple of weeks ago. I drove for Danskins for a year, just after getting my Class 1 - think it was 1987/88. I usually drove an F86 though.
