Yeah, I am conscious that it is a risk. However, I’m hoping that they will be sufficiently impressed with my organisation of records generally, plus the absence of infringements on my driver card, that they might let me off…or at worst give me a warning and tell me to waste tacho rolls achieving exactly the same thing in future. On the issue of work, sitting on your backside in an office and using your brain can be just as exhausting as sitting on your backside in a truck driving. It therefore makes a certain amount of sense that the rest rules apply regardless of the job you’re doing. You need to give your brain a break.
