Companies usually have there own in the form of a defect report book or a defect sheet. What is it for if you want to know what you should be doing there is a video done by VOSA that shows you what how you should check. I cant find a link to it think ROG posted one before.

VOSA video of a walk around vehicle check - seems to take some time to load up and then another wait for the video to load !!
The sheet that Rog posted must be for a non-LGV. It states that the minimum tread depth must be 1.6mm.
I thought it was 1mm for LGVs.
