If when you have finished for the day although you still have working and driving time left you put your mode onto break then after 1 hr remove tacho when does your daily rest start

As there was 1 hr workin time and drive time so could have moved if wanted to within that time and that was on a 13 hr day 9 hr drive then 11 hrs rest so was not pushed so actually worked 12 hr drove 8 hrs placed tacho on break then after some time removed tacho
Also just curious 
If I have understood you correctly, it would start from when you put it on break. It would in my book anyway. 
Strictly speaking the act of removing and completing the chart would be classed as work so your rest period would start then. However, back in the real world, I think most people would count from when you put it on rest, you could argue you forgot to remove the chart when you clocked off and another driver removed it for you.
