Fellow Drivers. Ive tried searching for help on this but had no luck. The air drivers seat in my 2012 daf xf has an unbearable squeek, every little movement of the seat travelling up and down causes this squeak which after 4 hrs driving is slowly driving my insane.
Ive unhooked the rubber cover so I can see the mechanism and I’ve drenched it all in wd40 but the ■■■■ thing is still squeaking! Help!

Had this on my cf, yes its on the mechanism, despite drenching it also with wd40 mine also stayed. Wasn’t until I took off the whole valance that I found it. Mine was at the very top of the mechanism where the seat meets the mechanism. Think there are nylon bushes on the swivel piece and they were the problem. I stuck some grease on there and it worked have regreased it twice in last two years. wd40 in nylon makes it worse. Hope this helps.
