Hi does anyone know how to install a microwave oven in a daf xf superspace i know it goes in the centre locker and i have located the fuse holder in the fuse box but i need a idea where the wires will be in the back of the centre top locker

open the locker door, feel round the corner of the nearside of the opening, the wires are there, 40 amp wiring, should have a bakelite plug on the end, but, quite a number of people cut that plug off and fit a different one
i have fitted 50 amp anderson plugs in mine
i wudnt trust that wiring tried it and it got to hot for my liking so i ran proper cable about the thickness of car jump leads around the trim above the door and down thru the locker direct to batteries with an anderson plug so you can tilt the cab much safer i think plus u can do food if you hand your keys in whilst tipping
I used the original wiring in the one I had and had no problems at all with it.
Wish other manufacturers would follow Daf’s lead( haha!) and fit the wiring as standard.
My microwave is using the original wiring and ive had no probs and i use it quite alot…
