Anyone know how to replace the cb mount on the back of the cab…? Mines knackered, just keeps spinning round.
It’s just a DV27 mount. These are cheap and readily available.
What exactly is spinning?. Is it the silver eye or the black dome shapped piece?.
If its the silver eye the mount is knackered and needs replacing, if it’s the black dome then you can probably get away with tightening the mount up.
Now here’s the difficult bit. You need to get the back bunk wall trim off to allow you access to the nut on the back of the mount. This unfortunately is a pretty long winded job. Once you can get to it it’s either a simple tighten of the nut or to replace it unscrew the coax followed by the nut and washer on the back and Remove the mount from the outside.

No its the silver eye mount that’s knackered…don’t fancy taking the wall trim off to get to it, too much stuff in the cab. Was wondering if i could loosen the black dome some how, and pack something around the eye mount to stop it spinning?

fit a stinger on the mirror arm, job done 
drill the hole out fit nut and bolt
