Daf Transmission Malfunction

Hi troops, quick question to see if anyone has came across this problem before.
Truck is a 2019 Cf with 100k on the clock.
When you turn key to start it , it does its usual his and click routine and all lights come on as well as N in the gear window
Turn the key and engine fires into life the N is replaced by two - for a second and then as the N reappears there is a loud clunk from the box and the transmission malfunction warning appears along with the usual alarm sound.
Never does it first thing or if engine has been off for a while and always clears if you turn off and count to twenty.

Only started doing it two days ago and as usual Daf can’t look at it till next week so hoping it doesn’t leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere and if it does had the decency to set itself on fire (after I’m out of course)

Thanks for any suggestions or thoughts.

Possible water ingress in the ZF AS Tronic actuator on top of the gearbox ?

Thanks for your reply, it played nice all day yesterday, so hopefully will be ok for the next couple of days till it goes in to get looked at.

Water ingress. Most of the DAF electrical gremlins are.

No endorsement from me but this might help understand what, is possibly going on ?

Thanks for the replies guys.
Thing ran fine Friday and Monday, was fine this morning, then when I started up after lunch again it did it.
Meant to be going into garage in next couple of days , so fingers crossed it gets sorted or suddenly blows itself up in the garage.’

It would be interesting to hear what the garage come up with about the fault.
