DAF sat nav

Anyone on here got the DAF in built sat nav?

Getting a new XFSSC with it, and I want to know who’s maps it uses.

Ken.

I’ve got one on a 64 plate but I don’t use it. Very basic.
Can’t help you on the mapping.
I find it over sensitive. I often have to use 7.5 t exept for access but it can’t handle it.
Either says no suitable route found or comes up with some daft miles out your way route that doesn’t make sense.

I find 3rd party plug in truck navs much better. Easier to fine tune to your requirements.

The upside to the daf sat nav system is the stereo it’s built in with.
Now that’s brilliant.

Thought as much.

Been a Tom Tom user since they more or less came out, so I am used to their platform, but as I get the new truck on Tuesday,I wanted to gauge opinions.

One of our other lads has a 66 plate with it in, and I used his motor last week for 5 days, and found the sat nav to be a little strange to say the least.

Looks like the old Tom Tom won’t be retired after all then.
