Turn the light switch to on?

How old is the vehicle? Do you have the ignition (but not engine) on? If not, put it on and try again. When you turn the lights on and off, do you hear a little click from the relay? Were they working earlier?

The answer to everything you asked is yes

Are your dashboard and tacho displays lit up? Backlight and information lights.

No it’s but the TV and the kettle work

Ok, from memory (which has a nasty habit of letting me down), tail lights, headlights and auxiliary lights all have a common circuit but may use separate relays. The only thing I can think of as being common to them all is the light switch itself. IIRC them DAFs need the ignition on for them to work. Try running the engine, just to make sure, all I can think of after that is a dicky switch. You’ll need someone who knows more than me from this point on I’m afraid.

Apologies for the flippant first post I made.

Ok, so ignition is on but your light circuit is not. As above, I can’t help anymore I’m afraid. Hope you get sorted.
