Daf LF 45 wont start

Hi, im having trouble trying to start my Daf LF beaver tail 7.5t

Its 2004

I loaded it up with a scrap car one evening and parked it up, i went to it 2 days later to take to the scrap yard and it would just turn over and not fire

I have had a problem with it the past year where i would have to stall it to turn off and disconnect the battery but it had been starting every time until now so I’m not sure if this problem is connected to the no start

So far i have tried disconnecting the plug on the fuel pump as i believe this gives full fuel pressure and no difference

When turning over there is come smoke from exhaust as if it is getting some fuel to burn

I fires up with easy start but cuts out again when stopped spraying

Its not worth a big lot so im just trying to basically get it running to move as its not worth spending a fortune on

Has anyone got any suggestions on what i can try or do to diagnose the problem

Also i do have fuel up to the injectors when i crack open pipes and turn engine over

all help is welcome and very much appreciated

Thanks

No idea where would go on a truck but you tried easy start.in cars you spray it into air filter

Any info on timing belt changes, ie the last time it was done ?

Same for fuel filter.

What colour is the smoke ?

Think there’s a pressure relief valve/sensor on the fuel rail itself on those little daf engines, iirc.. could be wrong. Be worth a check. Could still be the control valve on the pump too, they were a common fault. Also worth dipping the tank and just checking the fuel or drain the filter if its got a tap on. Basics before pulling injectors lol. Let us know how you get on.

Are you getting any warning lights on dash?

Google search came up with this from a few years ago. An older model LF but the fault finding advice is sound where applicable to a later model.
