My elderly DAF is a bit saggy to the near side rear by several cms, noticeable if looking at the rear on level ground. Fitted new shocks which helped a bit, the old ones were different sizes! I need to replace the rear leaf springs. Main question is: should I go for double or single springs? As a nag waggon, it will run upto weight (7.5t) most of the time. Doubles are a lot more money than singles, but also is the swap straight forward or are any other mods required? Also do I need to do anything at the front also?
If you’ve got no overweight issues stick with a new pair of mono leaf springs and have some comfort.
Could try swapping the springs over n/s to o/s.
