DAF digital dash

Company got a new fleet of dafs with digital dash. Weirdly some are limited to 53 others to 56 some with active cruise some without, all of them through various errors out like blind spot sensor, coolent level sensor etc.
Is this just daf being ■■■■ and randomly speccing their vehicles?

Also I cant seem to find any settings to control the max /min speed for the cruise control or the downhill speed control. It makes the cruise almost useless as the damn thing over runs with the slightest downhill slope… annoying especially when you have microlise ■■■■■■■■ fitted. I know its meant to be on the left control but no… nothing except ACC distance on some trucks.

Just another reason I’m glad I drive a Scania.
Not all our wagons are ‘fancies’ with the doo-dads but in general I find they drive and respond better than the clunky DAFs

Utterly pointless. Cant trust cruise control not to overspeed and microlise penalises you for not using cruise lmao. Technology aint it fantatsic. Dont get me started on the bloody digital vehicle checks that have you running around the truck multiple times  All about them covering their asses rather than doing propper checks. Your not allowed to idle the vehicle but your meant to check for airleaks and excessive vehicle smoke too. Checks written by a halfwit.

Need a degree these days more setting buttons dials etc than a plane.
And most are not needed. W e coped fine before adaptive cruise controls. We don’t need a red triangle in wing mirror to let you know there’s a car coming up the side. Ok this might not be on trucks but is on a lot of cars
We dont need auto headlights that’s why cars drive around in the dark or on full beam when sunny because the computer turns them on and off when ever I. Could go on
