Has anyone had trouble with the heater control knob sticking? The direction control, is stuck on windscreen and when trying to turn it it just springs back to position. Sometimes it will turn and doesn’t jam in any other position but the 'screen direction. I had the same trouble before with an earlier CF and a Foden Alpha.
could be something behind the panel jamming it, have you tried removing the dash panel and having a look?
Not the panel itself, no. The control knob comes off fairly easily, nothing looks broken behind it.

Leave it in the stuck position then wait a few minutes and it normally works…

Tried that, no joy. At least the demister works.
May be the control cable has a kink in it …
Can the cable be accessed without taking the dashboard apart?
Unfortunately ,there will be some stripping of the dash involved . But it isn’t that bad to be honest
Used to have the same problem with my CF. It would normally work ok after a few minutes, and sometimes it worked ok after ive turned the fan speed off and back on.
