I didnt say it was the air dryer just that the sensor was nearly as much as the complete air dryer. If it went anything like mine I had to take the whole thing off to drill the broken bolts off anyway

Now dont quote me because after being in this job for so long the mind aint what it was but the sensor was around £220 and the complete air dryer was on offer at around £250, now if I remember a filter is £20 so thats £10 difference and you might save that on labour.
Hopefully its a wire or corroded plug,however I havn’t had too much trouble with plugs but plenty with wires. Mark
