Has anyone ever replaced the front cab shocks on a 95xf 51plate ? the cab has dropped at the front by 2" iv had the front grill off today and the front shocks are compressed to the bottom, i have lifted the front up with a forklift and this appears to be the problem, Looks a ball ache to change over, so just wondered if anyone else has experinced problems with the change over ?

i have changed an airbag on a SSC, bolt at the bottom and the cab mount pin at the top, you will need to support the cab whilst doing it, i would advise that you do one at a time and not take both out together
This 1 is a SSC, how does the top pin come out ? is it threaded ?

Just been having a look round and noticed some are a coil shock on the front , but saying that this is on a 02 spacecab ?
if it is a SSC, it is an air bag suspension unit, not just a standard shock absorber
if it is the airbag, it is unlikely that the airbag will have failed, it will more than likely be the levelling valve or the solenoid that has failed
if you want to change the airbag, then, the top pin, there is a securing bolt on the underside on the cab mount housing, remove it, take out the grease ■■■■■■ in the end of the cab mount, you will need a slide hammer, screw it in to where the grease ■■■■■■ was and pull the end cap out, then the slide hammer slides in to the end of the cab mount pin and remove it in the same way

a space cab has coil spring and shock set up, a Superspace has an airbag set up 
right , were does the levelling valve live ?
just had a thought , when i got the truck it was losing air at the front bottom left hand corner under the step, but only just got round to getting on with sorting the truck out, , dont go far shuttle this weekend going to have a list for you
