right we have had our daf for nearly 12 months and have heard everyone ive spoke to who ownes them moan about the bushes going in the bar that is at the front, did they make a better solution to this on the daf 105 and can you simply just change the 95 one for the 105 or is it just a case of replacing the bushes which we have done when we first got the motor?
Transc:
They should have a grease ■■■■■■ fitted and greased regularly. All mine have had this done from new and I’ve never had to replace the bar or bushes yet
Good basic maintance still pays dividend`s no matter what the badge is on the front of the cab .
one of mine had the conversion done, the truck had a major front end impact, when they rebuilt the truck, they fitted the new torsion bar on it, it is maintenance free
i only have 1 DAF left now, and that has got the old type torsion bar with grease ■■■■■■■ for the cab mounts
there is a self greasing system available from DAF that fits to the cab mount assembly to save the need for greasing every so often
