Daf 310 miss fire

Just bought a Daf 6x4 2004 with a 310 engine. Its got a miss fire and the dealer has had it on Davie and can’t find it. Can’t seem to isolate the cylinder by the old method of slackening each pipe. We have tried to test the injectors but our ancient tester won’t measure the pressure although they all seem to spray ok. If I slacken each pipe 5 of them really gush out fuel but no 2 isn’t pushing out so much. Any help would be appreciated.

PM a member on here by the name of “Norb”. He’s a DAF techie and seems to know his stuff mate.

Mechanical fault in the pump the diagnostics can’t pick up would be my line of thought.

Got the unit out of the inj pump and the cam and follower looked good. Going to try another pump unit.
