Hi,
Can somebody tell me what the fault is please.
There is a picture of a lightning bolt through the cab and a message saying “central vehicle controller”
It is a 64 plate DAF 105.
Regards,
Richard.

Yes, Zeus has picked you to be his next bodily form to control on earth.
He’ll pick you up from your vehicle soon. Centrally.
That ^^^^^ actually sounds like quite an attractive proposition given that I’m currently a tad bored with the mundane day to day slog. Where do I apply?
According to my manual, it’s a fault in the electronics of the VIC (Vehicle Intelligence Centre ) the VIC gathers information and actuates vehicle functions,
Yep, I don’t ■■■■■■■ get it either
Sapper
One of the nodes (ECUs) has either failed or lost communication with the control area network (CAN)
Its not a primary ECU as in motor,ABS or gearbox. It controls cab functions such as the radio.interior lighting, ventilation. Plug it into a scanner and see if you can get all the ECUs to talk to the scanner.
