OK, filled in the D47P Renewal of lorry/bus driving licence entitlement form as about to hit 50.
Photo being verified against my passport so no need to get it signed.
And sending back my current plastic licence to DVLA.
D4 Doctors Report filled in by GP and £100 fee taken off me!!
But what fee do I send to DVLA for the renewal of my licence??
(No where on the leaflet does it state it??)

Pity its got this far as 3 months ago you could have simply changed the photo and got 5 years free providing you had no licence issued after october 2012

My current licence does not expire till 2021 which was issued 2011 just the picture of C entitlement ends in 2016?
But still have to renew it?

Might need to contact DVLA on Monday if no one can confirm a charge is made or not?

YES - the D4 medical but NO to the photo if that was new in 2011 as the photo lasts 10 years
If C ends after september then no need to do D4 but simply change the photo even if that has not expired to get free 5 years for LGV
If already paid out for D4 medical then its too late to get the free 5 years - but you wish you had mentioned the renewal here a few months ago …
