I’ve just filled in the D2 form but I stupidly added my passport number, which isn’t a requirement because I don’t want to change my name.
Should I send it off as it is or should I cross it out?
OR should I complete a new form - I don’t fancy doing that.
How fussy are the DVLA if I’ve completed a section I shouldn’t have?

Attach a little note to it explaining the little faux pas and to disregard it?
Get a new form and send it special delivery. Gets there next day
Better to be safe than sorry. Nothing worse if you get it sent back a week later telling you that you filled it out wrong
It wont make any difference. But always a plan to send it Special Delivery.
