I am sure the howell’s truck was in one of the truck mags around 4/5 years ago, some sort of scania 142 write up I remember reading it!

Good to see A589 JEX up and running again.
She was new to Dave Miller who used her to haul farm machinery for export, she then went to Mr Peckham ( are they still about?) hauling timber pit props etc, after which she went through a couple of owner driver’s hands and disappeared for a while.
The “Aerodyne” 142 went to an owner driver ( Im thinking Oscar Fuller, but I could be wrong) and pulled a Transam Trucking trailer or two in her day.
She then went to NY Towing in Kent where she was converted into a recovery wagon and if I remember correctly was badly damaged when a few of NY’s trucks caught fire.
There was talk of a rebuild but Im not sure whether this happened or not.
