Cyclist on the motorway

I just happened to be doing a dashcam short film for my wife whilst I was in Scotland (she likes to see where I go sometimes) when I spotted a cyclist on the M90!

Comments make me laught!

My best Billy Connolly impersonation!

Haha tosserrrr

He’s a push-biker, only Kryptonite can kill him

Sitting here waiting for it all to kick off when Albion, Chester and few others get a grip of this.

“■■■■■■, I hope he ■■■■■■■ dies”

Disgusting, What a load of ■■■■■■■■, Can’t believe it, Made me cringe… that Big Yin impression lol

Why do you think it would kick off?
I’ve not even clicked the link.
Although I gather
A person has chosen to ride a bicycle on the hard shoulder of a motorway.

Are you awaiting people like me to rise and defend folks who make such choices?
If you are, you might have to google “deluded”

Love that brilliant impression.

So you’re calling the cyclist a ■■■■■■ whilst moving a camera about and driving an HGV at the same time, and also faking a Scottish accent for the camera. Not exactly being in full control of the Vehicle is it ?

theres been a few who have done that and a few that have come a cropper too

I took my left hand off the wheel to pick up the camera, point it at the cyclist & then turn it off. The whole thing took about 10 seconds. I often take my left hand off the steering wheel, to change gear for instance, or to turn my windscreen wipers on or off, or to check something on my sat nav, or change the radio settings or whatever. Sometimes (whisper it quietly) I drive with my left hand on the gear lever because I’m changing gear a lot, like in busy city centre traffic.

Also, can you point out to me which law I’m breaking by faking a Scottish accent for my own amusement? Is doing a silly voice losing control of your vehicle now?

He must went into a live lane to cross the bridge, suicidal stuff!

At 33s on the clip, you pan the camera from left to right, and back to the middle of the truck, before you show the Cyclist. Hardly safe professional driving is it ? Whilst talking in a comedy voice, is this concentrating on what’s going on around you, and whats happening on the road ahead.

You should be arrested for the impersonation alone, it sounds nothing like Sean Connery.

I didn’t pan anything, I picked it up and pointed it roughly out of each window, my eyes stayed straight ahead and if I wasn’t concentrating on the road I wouldn’t have seen the cyclist way before the camera did. You’re just jealous because my Sean Conn…er Billy Connolly impression is better than yours!

Gear-sticks & wiper stalks are standard operating equipment for a vehicle which is fitted at the factory…a video-camera is not.

Your argument is invalid.

HTH

BTW, I liked how you avoided the corsa.

I cycled over the Friarton Bridge before it was opened to traffic. That was back in the day when people could have a bit of fun without the need for a helmet ,hi-viz and all of the rest of the ■■■■■■■■ that we cant do without nowadays.

I’m not having an argument but fair point, guilty as charged M’Lud. The Corsa was typical “join the motorway but didn’t speed up” Johnny. happens every day!
