Hello people I was just wondering if anybody new where I could get some made up I have my own design witch I would like I’ve heard of blinger cab but I’m not on Facebook so can’t get hold of her cheers

this is not going well

I hang a fleece or hi viz (or hi viz fleece) on the door frame then shut the door. Instant curtain, no frills and keeps the sun out.

But some folk can’t live without the frills [emoji23]

I use a pair of our lasses under crackers as they are about the same size as a bed sheet and frayed at the edges

Right here’s a coming out style confession.
I am robroy and I am a frilly curtain trucker. :open_mouth:

Wow, …there I’ve said it.
My defence is that I am one of the original FCTs from the 80s, I no longer use flags in the windscreen, Michelin men on the mirrors, neither do I still wear Scania 111 type body warmers or furry Dutch clogs (although I still use the softer option of clacks, as I am going through a weaning off process, and hope to eventually move on to being a shoe user)
However as for the Frilly curtains I am hooked, I have never been able to kick my habit, and continue to be a user to this day, and I need to say this,…they have tassels all around.
I feel soooo much better for lightening myself from this by sharing it with some of you who suffer from the same addiction.
My final confession on this is , here goes…they are pulled half way along my side windows, not only that but tied back with a large Tasseled Tie. I use the excuse that it is to block out the Police tractor unit cameras, but with that, and wearing my shades at the same time, I am trying to create the ‘Mysterious Trucker’ look. …another throwback to the 80s when I had my permed mullet and Magnum style Mexican tache, Oh God! I’ve said too much now.
Can I thank the o/p for giving me the opportunity to come out and admit all this, and at the same time give him a solution to his problem…Get a girlfriend or wife. My wife has helped and supported me with this embarrasing habit now since the 80s, she has been my rock, and worked selflessly over the years making frilly curtains for trucks from 2800 DAFs, to today’s modern Actros, I don’t know how I would have coped with this habit without her.
Hope this helps the o/p, but if you are a newbie I urge you to seek help before it gets too late, and not become a 30 year user like me

I had a volvo fl years ago and my mam cut an arch in the curtain that went across the bunk in the middle of the cab,put some red tassles round it and put some red tape over the interior lights it looked bang on on a night,i used to get remarks that it looked like a amsterdam shop window

It was my first motor and loved it to death,i came back from 2 week holiday and the curtains had been ripped down and stuffed under the bunk ,tape taken off the lights and lobbed in the footwell and a massive dent in the diesel tank :smiling_imp:

As if the tassels weren’t enough to dispel the Big butch trucker myth, I love it that you admit that your Mam made them for you Seth

I am willing to forgive you everything as you are the one and only “Robroy” of TNUK fame.
EXCEPT that bit that says you drive an Actros…that is an unforgivable sin, if they would not give you a proper truck you should have manned up and resigned !!!

Look mate, I had to accept it. It was the only type of motor that my present set of frilly curtains fit, so don’t give me a hard time. I was also promised a new set of tassled tie backs by the boss as a sweetener incentive, so given my addiction problem how could I refuse eh?

Apart from that the alternative choice was a Renault ■■■■ Premium
