Hello all
When using a curtainsider and it’s empty. Do you ever not put the bars back between the struts, since they have to come out again to reload at the next place? Or is it a structural thing that they have to be in for travel?
Thanks
Edit. Not the upright bars that move, but the planks of wood that go between them. It’s them I’m on about do you replace them between jobs since they have to come out again to reload
Putting one in each bay would stop any tendency the the uprights to slide or move (not that they should if sheet is tight) but I can’t see a need for more than that.
The UK trailers don’t usually have the bars. Those are the continental trailers you’re referring to I think.
These bars ?

Should prob put them back…
