Curtainside Load restraint option

ive been driving a rigid curtainsider this week that has netting on bungee cords with straps that you attach to the body. with the weather being pish poor, ive not had the opportunity have a proper look at whether these would be suitable to use for multidrop grocery deliveries. the load is all palletised and comes off the back using the tail lift. if the netting is strapped down over the load, can they be loosened and put high enough to allow access to the pallets and ones behind or would the curtains need to be opened everytime?
