Curtains in cabs

I admit it I drive with my curtain half was over the window.

Sometimes it cover the sun light if it’s that side and some times they just move forward.

Iv only seen this happen with tasseled curtains  yes I do own a pair

How do they see in kerb mirror ? Or are they so experienced they don’t need it.

Got the Frilly curtains all round the spears and the Scania Griffin led logo makes it feel homely I think…

Kerb mirror what’s that  :stuck_out_tongue:
If its the little mirrors on the top I tho they was for looking down the ladys tops

i have the frilly curtains in my truck, ive put them in 2 personalise it abit cos i tramp all week, nowt wrong with this, i dont like those logo’s in the back of cabs but thats driver choice and also my choice. like 2 see i nice truck on the road and i try and keep mine as clean as i can even though im a tipper driver. YES A TIPPER DRIVER SHOCK :exclamation: :open_mouth:

If you don’t need or use it your obviously a very good driver or a very silly one!

The curtains hide the fact that they are on the phone while driving.

That must`ve been the Benton bros driver I saw on friday afternoon while on the M62

The only possible explanation is that plod can’t tape you while you’re on your phone either that or you’re a bit shy.

I am having an Indian meal tonight, shall i buy their curtians off them and put them in my truck, all frilly and tassles a real man trucker, lol. With the red light for night driving, the cab will be like a tarts boudoir. :grimacing:

roger.

I thought about buying some curtains for my 56 plate FH as the originals are starting to look past their best.
But, the people that make em seem to think we all want gay wavy pelmets and tassels.
I just wanted dark blue lined to keep the light out.
And the price!
I don’t mind spending money, but wow.
So I just took them home to be washed again, shabby shique or something.

Yeah somethink like that mate

I don’t do all the frilly curtains and stuff. I would buy my own curtains probably if I had one of the new merc gigaspace thingys. I had one as a demo for a week and the curtains in it were almost see through. Was a real shame as I thought the rest of the truck was very good.

Tbh, mind your own business. I try to. This industry suffers from an excess amount of whinging tossers. So ■■■■■■■ what if a driver’s suffering from arrested development and lives their life as a cliche?

Safety issues aside, let 'em be. I’d rather see someone take pride in the truck and also the job than have to listen to the ever present “cafe based industry pundit”.

:unamused:

If ever you get into a truck fitted with a dreamcatcher it should never be removed. All the bad dreams that it contains will be released, spirits from the ancient world will descend, gather them up and put them the head of the remover, their soul will be condemned to burn in hell for an eternity. Or summat like that.
