Got my curtains cut at Newark lorry park last night, 15/12. I thought it was pretty safe there!
My mother in law lost £100 to a dipper in sainsbury’s yesterday 13.15, nowhere is safe these days my friend.
Trailer next to mine got slashed at Gloucester services a few weeks ago on the south bound.
It’s Christmas and scum bags are on the prowl for rich pickings.

Quite reasonable for my services for 30minutes I thought.

If you search for “Tolney Lane Newark” on Google you might get an idea why Newark is a really bad place to park up with a lorry load of anything that might possibly be re-saleable. I’m probably not allowed to elaborate further without getting put into the Dozy special posting group, but its food for thought. The police web site also gives some interesting insights.
Dipper_Dave…the images, burning into my brain…arrgghhh…
Two nice-looking, college-aged girls, in short shorts, will come up to your vehicle as you are parked up. They both start wiping your windshield with soap and water, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. (It’s impossible not to look).
When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say ‘No’ but instead ask for a ride to McDonald’s. You agree and they climb in the vehicle. On the way, they start ■■■■■■■■■■. Then one of them starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen June 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th, & 29th. Also, July 1st & 4th, twice on the 8th, 16th, 23rd, 26th & 27th, and very likely again this upcoming weekend.
So tell your friends to be careful.
What a horrible way to take advantage of us older men.
Warn your friends to be vigilant.

What he said. Though the lowlife of Newark is by no means confined to that area.
Turks cut mine to shreds in Wakefield a few weeks back. All for 2 packets (not cases) of cereal bars.
Twunts
How did you know it was Turkish drivers that did it, what was the evidence-based on cctv or a witness ?
Thank you for the warning Zaxx, although I hope you were kind enough to leave at least a tenner in the wallets so these poor wee mites could buy some much needed clothes from the nearest Primark. When the misses wonders where the money is going, just tell her it’s all “charitable causes”.
As for Newark, I believe York Road is on the estate opposite KFC so be very careful parking around there overnight. That’s where the local ladies that Zaxx keeps meeting tend to live, except you’ll be paying them to put more clothes on! Could park in Waitrose car park overnight as I believe the scumbags won’t go there…legend has it they all burn if they set foot on such expensive ground.
Finally, do trucks come with a curtain repair kit or is that another one for the fitter?

When I pulled, there were 3 lads from 2 motors sat in one unit getting hammered.
Funny how their motors didn’t get touched. All curtainsiders with back doors shut.

Job for the workshop lads at our place, although I do carry a roll of Duck Tape, to get me back with minimal further damage to curtains or load

They wont be Turks, they don
t behave like that, they sound like very dodgy BG/RO/H TBF…
Turks will normally help you, not ■■■■ you
I’m totally convinced it was them, as were the cops.
One of ours had its curtains cut, it’s got a bloody big ramp and forklift trucks pictures down the side, what did they think they would get?
My trailer is the same but unbranded, it already has a 6" cut in it that I leave so hopefully they just look in that ■■■■■ and bugger off.

I thought Turks were back door merchants.
tinyurl.com/nuuu9wb Blast… Bought one from Costco a few months back! Jokes aside, hope the one they kept for themselves goes bang in their face when switched on, thieving bass turds

Oh well case closed then.
