has anyone painted over old sign writing on a curtainsider the writing on in at the mo is red paint/ink and it needs covering up just wondered what you used and if its a d.i.y job
no need to cover it just get some white spirit and rub it off.

Brake fluid works best, then clean the area with white spirit.

tried thinners and it aint working will end up looking a mess i need to cover it up what paint will do the job
Or you could just stick another piece of curtain over the effected area that’s the same colour as the original.
Dunno what paint works, just use any that isn’t water soluble.
