Curse of the sunny day

Currently there are traffic problems on the M6, the M40 and the M42 in this part of the world and many of the minor roads have also turned into accident city.

Always the same on sunny days as many drivers seem to go into la la land. Any thoughts on contributing factors? Dirty windscreens and mirrors? Badly scratched sunglasses? Arm outside the car instead of holding the steering wheel perhaps?

Brake lights are harder to see when sun is shining from behind plus glare in the mirrors makes lane changes tricky

in which they be driving too close

I think that there is more need for dipped headlights on bright days. There are more and more road coloured cars ,metallic grey or silver out there.(Ihave one).

Jeez, I gave up yesterday on the m5 roadworks & bounced cross country via redditch.

Who are these dicks who think its a good idea to pile in to the car on a Friday afternoon FFS?
