Just done some registration checking. If this Dodge was ■■■ DRM then it was registerd in 1961, If it is ■■■ GRM then this was the latter part of 1962.
Can you see the letters on your original photo.?

Hi B.waddy,
Salthouse Mills would probably be the name you are looking for. Salthouse Road was the location of the low bridge.
( My missus is an ex Barrovian lass. )
Hi b.waddy, CW man has answered your question I am afraid I could’t, its a very long time since I was last in Barrow with a wagon when I used to load animal feed out of Walmsley & Smith’s mill on Hindpool Rd the town side of that low bridge heading for West and North ■■■■■■■ in 1962 with an Albion Chieftain.
Cheers Leyland 600.
It would have been Barrow Paper Mills Ltd. down Salthouse,Athersmith Bros. were the haulier out of that Mill, which was a very antiquated operation.IIRC they closed down shortly after Brady’s took Athersmiths over in around 1973,but IIRC the former Sales Director of the Mill started up a sales firm called M6 Papers based in Congleton (?) Jack Brady was also a Director and I recall they had a 32/4 Seddon (or two or three) painted Blue and white and lettered M6 Papers.I can’t just remember how long the firm operated.Cheers Bewick.

No they dont belong Robin my son does his repairs and they dont have any ex Jenks. Eddie.
I’m assuming they are ex Jenkinson trailers, may not be though. I have a feeling the topline is a very high powered one (R620/730) so just curious as to who they belong too.
They may not even be together but the colours being exactly the same made me think so.
Thats a “B” reg Paul, fleet no 5,I bought 5 “A” reg ex WCBP which were obviously older than the one in the shot so they must have reused their fleet numbers eh! Cheers Dennis.
Hi hodgeturbo Aye Robert is still to the fore retired now and his son Robin runs the farm and haulage they have about 8 motors all artics and all tippers. Eddie.
