I’ve always wished that I was gifted in the sign writing skills Dennis, I would have loved to just change a letter here and there on a door or curtain side but I have had to make do with wagons where somebody has done it for me. There was a box van running round Blackpool a few years ago that claimed to be from Hudderfield and if I can find it I have a picture of the side of a coach where SEPTIC has been written as SCEPTIC. I liked it anyway

I can tell you that the top photo of the Thompsons Scania is pulling a Moblie Crusher, which Thompson run. They have had it for around 5 years and they take it all over the UK (know this because I have family who work at Thompsons).
The J & M Casson DAF CF is pulling a Prime Mollasas Trailer (who are based at Silloth Docks and who subcontract all there haulage to Cassons)Hi ■■■■■■■■ Gill ,
I would beg to differ the Thompsons truck is pulling a woos shreder and weve had it about 12 monthsthats david bomber wison driving it.

No problem mate if you look at the above post the green wood shredder with the old 113 on the front was the one we had for 5 years both long gone now matey. and yes thats the one and only D wilson he use to run a white foden alpha and tipper.

ago the Missus and me went to Singapore for a holiday and when we
was wandering round a huge shopping complex ajoining our hotel I
spotted a shop selling nothing but shirts, the name of the shop was
(and hand on heart) “LIFTERS” which was emblazoned on the window.
I can assure you I didn’t buy anything.

I’m sure harry gill you could fit into a nice medium like myself. I’ve got a little bit of a pot and I fit into them nicely. The shirts are quite good for hiding 'beer bellies and ‘fish and chip pots’ liek mine!

Keep up the good work CG and dont let them grind you down! I used to ‘spot’ lorries when I was a lot younger than you (1950’s) and I had all the numbers of the fleets based in and around Reading where I then lived but alas didn’t have a camera! The Tate and Lyle Foden driver’s used to wave at me when I was looking out of our front room window. 
My notebook was chucked away by mother when I married and left home though which was a shame as none of the companies exist any longer.
