Theres been one parked on Brunel Way in Carlisle Friday-Monday, sadly couldn’t get a decent pic as it was still dark. Really nice trucks though.

Yes, theres oftern Weirs parked down there. Thnik they run around 5 lorries from Gists site down there.

If you’ve got somewhere to park the 6 wheeler at Fletchertown you’ll get a start CG,Moota Quarry 5a.m. every morning,6 loads to Carlisle every day and no “posing” at the E.coli van either,“seagull” sandwiches for you my son!!! Bewick.

i took the photo dennis the drivers tom patterson and the other 2 lads worked for wimpeys billy skins coz he had more skins on than an onion and phil

Was it in an opencast Paul? what happened to the stone over the top of the coal deposit? And it could have been worse Hodge,if it was a 100 years ago you would have been digging it 'oot below ground as a miner eh! Cheers Dennis.

potatopot at wokington wimpey mining ran the site.they moved some of the overburden with a dragline and some with face shovels and dumptrucks

thats the dragline marion 480 i think parts of it went to india after that site closed.but that was the 3rd site it did at workington for wimpeys .plantation 1st then they walked it over the road to the shooting range then over the road to potatopot
