Eyup Dennis,that looks like the hoss shoe that were nicked off my AEC MK5 when it were parked overneet at the Star in Lesmahagow about 1969.If it’s got a Sheffield Hallmark it’s mine. 
I’ve looked all over for a place called Wukiton,found Wrekenton,Warrington,Wimbledon,Wincanton,Westhoughton,Wideopen,West Hartlepool,Winterton, and loads of other places but “Wukiton” 
I suspect it’s a ■■■■■■■■■■ thing dialectwise,can’t think of owt else. If so why can’t tha speak t’Queens English tha knows.
Went past Barrer t’other day from Heysham,if them windfarms get any further out from Walney I shalln’t need a bloody ferry,just sling a bridge across those masts.

I’ve never heard of them,they must be more than 5 miles away from Wigton,although I’ve led a very sheltered life I know where Red Dial is as I’ve been there for my holidays! Is Silloth on the Riviera"?.Where’s Carlisle by the way? is it part of Scotland?Anon.

I do know who Paul Hodgson Bulk Tippers are. They run 5 Tippers (all Scania, plus one 2011) based at Risehow & Thomas Armstrongs Yard at Flimby. I belive they ran more than 5 wagons (10 lorries I think), don’t know what happened to the rest thought.
So Bewick, I do know how they are!

If you went to the same “academy” as CG you’d be lucky if you were able to read or spell by the time you left!!! He must have been one of the lucky ones!You can at least get the idea of what he’s on about and reach some sort of conclusion as to what he means,usually it can be narrowed down to something or someone within 5 mile radius of Wigton.Cheers Bewick.
