And this was on their 142 A57EAO.
I was told that the paintings on the doors were Donnans trawlers, like I said its probably no use.
Cheers Bubbs,

Why is it that there are so few “Marras” and "Gadgy’s on the thread? There must be a thousand good story’s laying dormant in ■■■■■■■■■■ Or are the majority of them “computer illiterate”!!! Surely not I hope!! Bewick.
Do you think the bridge that has been talked about, linking Morcambe and Barrow in Furness will ever come off Dennis,it would save some mileage.
Cheers Dave.

Too long for a bridge Dave, but a Barrage should have been built in the 60’s when all they test bores were done and there was plenty of Slag to be had at each end as well as quarry stone.Hydro power could have been a spin off from the two swift tides, per day similar to the Severn estuary.I think what brought the project to a halt was the nesting site of 6 pairs of “lesser spotted umy goolie swamp warblers”!!! Serious though I think the costs at the time were considered too high at the time, but if it had been built it would have benifited, enormously, both Industry and latterly the tourist economy of West ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ and the Western Lakes in general. The initial cost would have pailed into insignifigance to-day! but alas it will now never happen! Cheers Dennis.

That seems to be the way Dennis. What appears to be a good idea gets shelved, then the cost goes up,and its lost for ever.
The Severn Barrage as you say was talked about, but never happened. The one in France provides huge amounts of power.
They try wind farms, the solar power and all sorts, then miss the boat on the good schemes.
Cheers Dave.

Its all about opinions, and you have every right to champion Stobart’s.But some of the less high profile firms of ■■■■■■■ and other parts of the UK are going quietly about their business, and have been around a lot longer.
Cheers Dave.
