COME ON STEVE GET SOME OF YOUR PHOTOS ON HERE TOPMAN!!!

A few more pics, first ones cortesy of Dennis
I think you sold this one to Bradys after a while?
You gave me this pic, I was interested in the underslung suspension (need to get out more I know). Underslung seemed to be a feature of early Borderers.
The next one isn’t obvious from first viewing. It is actually a Gardner 8LXB engined GUY Big J 4T, but recabbed to look like a Scania 112 (Dennis didn’t want the publicity at the time)
Not a ■■■■■■■■ truck I know, but a nice day out nonetheless in a Bassett 8LXB Borderer in 1988. Old man Basset liked the reg numbers 762, many of the fleet had this, used to cause lots of confusion in the office
Did you notice that TEC 204M was missing its bumper ? away for chromium plating before it went into service .Dennis.

JAMIE10:
steve do you have any brady photos from your time theredanny
HI JAMIE10
I dont have any where near the photos I wish I had.
I saw a picture of a model of Bradys yard that you had made, A lot of work must have gone into that. I noticed a model in the middle of the yard that was the white Volvo FH demonstrator that was on loan from Volvo I had that motor for the 6 months while on demonstration and it was when the FH first came out and what an awesome motor it was, L307MHH. The cab was far better than anything around at the time, God knows why they never bought it at the end of the 6 months After it went back I got a new Merc 2433 M11TBS Thats was a sad day like having a rolls royce only to be given a Mini Do you have any pictures of the white VOLVO FH L307MHH.

Dennis,
Is that lay by on the road past Cookes about a mile before the lights in Milnthorpe? I used to think how peaceful it was there by the stream. A nice bit of countryside.
