:open_mouth: How do you know ■■ it could have been a professional photographer, sat as passenger, in a professional drivers cab, owned by a professional haulier, how professional would that be?? :unamused:

Don,t tell Bert & Ernie, but it seems that they break down as well, think of the image

Surely true professionals would have their own recovery vehicle.

No eddie spotter here. Just a berk with a camera not watching the road. next thing he’s in the back of a family saloon and the rest of us are held up again.

Aye the photo has been taken by the driver and you can see in his near side mirror he is also overtaking at the time very stupid to say the least, No wonder there is accidents with idiots like this chasing around. Eddie.

Overtaking ? , where ? .

Look again at all photos , lane 1 is coned off & is occupied by the recovery vehicles . Vehicles in closed off lane are stationary , photo vehicle is possibly stationary , possibly moving in nearest available lane , this being lane 2 , who can say for certain .

Well the Professional Photographer must have been sitting on the drivers knee its obvious where the the photo has been taken from. Eddie.

Here you are CG,a shot of the debris that was left of the Ladies Hairdressers in Rochdale that the Bewick 112 demolished. Our Insurers re-built the salon as a “state of the art” facility as well as paid the ungrateful ■■■■■ for loss off profits while the work was carried out! All she gave me was a nasty “gobful” and we’d done her a great big favour !! The marra that lived in the adjoining terrace got knocked out of bed and when he run downstairs to see what had happend he found his front door jambed tight so he had to climb out of his downstairs window in his “jammies” !! Cheers Bewick.

yungnad:

For ages Sealy were using one of these old DAF’s as a yard shunter (Haven’t seen it for ages now though), looked quite good in amongst the CFs and 85’s of the rest of the fleet.

A couple of my dads Trucks, based near Milnthorpe but working out of Carnforth…

Volvo FL10 320 - Awful truck, had several engine problems

Which has been replaced by

Prior to the Ovlov was a Leyland Constructor 6x4 24.23 E147 VEC - I only have one picture of it taken by David Smith and that was after the Bardon Takeover, would love to have some of it in it’s own colours though, Green over Red.

And a couple more from the Bardon fleet at the time (around early '06 iirc)

Think they are scared of colour!

Hello dew,
Excelent photos. About Sealy, I think there is still one of the DAF 1800 been used as a yard shunter at D Brown (Haulage Contractors) Aspatria, who are Sealy Subbies. I know there is also a lot of old Sealy Box Vans in part of there yard by the railway line between Aspatria & Wigton.
