A few pics of Alan’s new motor, due on the road soon to replace the one we lost last year. Wrapped not painted this time. Not sure who’s getting it but I do like the new shape.

Not the best shot of the wagon but that’s me on my dad’s lap in his old Scania at Daysons

Brewers do a fair bit of subbing work for Glendinnings iirc.

I notice Brewers have Carnforth on the doors. Do they have a depot down here or do they base some trucks at Truckhaven?

This six wheeler and trailer is about to pull across the A596 onto B5305 towards Penrith at The Street Road Ends near Wigton on Saturday afternoon soon after loading at the new auction mart about half a mile further back down the road. Can anyone identify the outfit ?
Cheers Leyland 600.

They’re all Alan’s trucks, one brewers unit left on the road and two trailers. All based from Penrith, when the brewers unit and trailers go they’ll all have Alan’s name on. 12 units, 6 trade as Glendinning, 6 as Brewers. If you look, the back of the cab,

This one regestered as W8AGH is a brewers motor. To replace the blown over motor.

Thanks for the info on the DAF six wheeler CG.
Cheers Leyland 600
