cattle wagon man:
Hi “nelly1972”,
For those of us who are not able to see your prize collection on fb ,…how about displaying some on HERE :exclamation:  :bulb:
I cannot remember you ever having shown even ONE photograph on TNUK.

We all ( still :unamused: ) await your valuable visible contribution on “■■■■■■■ Companies”.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Hi mcwilliam has posted photos belonging to me, prize collection? If you are so clever with words surely you can log onto Facebook & find my photos there or would you prefer to write what you have above??
Geez here was me thinking the older generation was grown up, next time your carer is in get her to wipe your chin you geriatric

Hi "nelly19722,
Thank you for your opinion of myself . I shall not debase to return a low answer as yours.
T
However , the older generation were probably at work long before you were born , and we were educated to be polite to our elders.

I am only referring back to your earlier comments about the lack of older photographs on “■■■■■■■ Companies”.
Those of us who have contributed on here , have asked you to make your contribution instead of condemning us.

Putting fb aside ( yes , kiddo,…I can access fb ) your criticism was made on TNUK.
So ,… again , I ask you ,…why haven`t you ever personally contributed a single photograph on TNUK :exclamation:

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Hi cattle wagon man,

Apologies to ■■■■■■■■ gill & yourself for earlier comments, since its the season of goodwill I would like to draw a line under what has been previously been said & start a fresh, I did get carried away but as most people say today’s photo is next weeks nostalgia, & I do love the older trucks, the ones I seen growing up…

The reason I haven’t uploaded any photos to this great thread is I do not have any on file, I use my mobile all the time, in the summer I gave my photos to a local transport historian & he uploaded some to his computer & every now & again he uploads them to his fb page, as McWilliam has done he has shared them from fb onto here, I am unable to do that, & I am grateful that he has, as I do have some good photos that hopefully can create a lot of interest amongst fb & here on trucknet…
All my photos were taken between 1986 & 1996 some are trucks I’ve driven, some my dads & lots of ransoms, even some ■■■■■■■■ gill would like of Stobarts from 1994…

Once again accept my apologies
Neil martin

PS if you look me up on fb, I can tag you in photos that you can add to trucknet…

Hi all ,
The Vimto ( or Irn Bru ) must be very strong in the Borders . :open_mouth:

Right ,…with “nelly1972” now having said his piece , maybe we can now revert to common sense and “■■■■■■■ Companies”. .

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Neil Martin I understand that there has been problems between you & a trucker who drove for Curries, I do not want involved. Regarding the Cattle Man if my photos offend you I will add no more photos please advise.

Hi McWilliam,
I have no problem in you kindly showing any of the photographs on TNUK.
Indeed , I thank you for doing such , and hope that you will continue posting.

The gripe I had with “nelly1972” has been highlighted in my reply to his outburst earlier today.
Many of us on here were hard at work long before he appeared on the planet.

From your posting , do I deduce that I am not the only person who has issues with this boy ? :unamused:

Thanks again.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

I do not know the full story behind the Dumfries Truck Photos fall out, if Capt M wants to enlighted us maybe he will however you can look on there youself. Be aware the photos I post are not mine, however I consider them important enough to share so long as no one is offended, people are very sensitive about these issues as you yourself are. You may dislike some of the photos I reproduce a good example might be the Sharps above, OK they are not top of the range Scania 141/ 142’s but to me they are both superb & important photos illustrating the history of transport.

Ste Burrow:

McWilliam:
Just found this cracker on one of the trucking pages, I hope the owner does not mind me posting it.

Nah thats fine. That DAF was driven by my greatuncle Bob Burrow. This was the last truck he drove before he retired. Him and my grandad worked on West ■■■■■■■■■■ Farmers during the late 50’s and 60’s.

These are brilliant photos, maybe not top of the range Scanias, but to me they are still brilliant & belong on here to be shared.

Yeah captain marvel has issues & I treated him the way he treated a good friend of mine…

Now I don’t need to hide behind an internet name, everybody knows me or can find out who I am through Facebook… I have no issue with McWilliam who I do not know but knows me, posting my photos for everybody to enjoy

Crack on with your name calling, I’m older than you blah blah blah… I’ve got a life away from trucks… Take your internet bullying else where I did say I was drawing a line…

Well lads and lasses lets get back on track, here’s some photo’s of Ronnie Balmers trucks from a few years ago and another Monkhouse one I have come across. regards prattman.

I agree with you 100% regarding people posting photo’s that don’t belong to them nelly1972. I have had issues in the past with people copying my photo’s and then posting them on other threads.
If they want to post photo’s go out and take their own like we have,or borrow old one’s off hauliers like I have over the last five years.
Cheers Dave.

The problem is that once you have put them on the web they are public property and anybody can get them. I have
no problem with sharing my pictures with people who want to see them but I have learned the hard way not to put
any “special” pictures out there. I have found my pictures on foreign web sites, flickr, facebook, ebay and I have
seen them overwritten with somebody else’s copyright. I have even found them with my copyright written over
them on other people’s sites. I have three approaches to pictures I want to keep, either do not post them, save
them in a very low format before posting them so they are not worth copying or write my name all over them to
try and stop people selling them but one thing I know for sure is that there is no use complaining once you have
posted them anywhere because within hours thousands of people will have right clicked or copied them if they are
of any interest.

Exactly! Why bother putting photos on the www if you don’t want people to use them :open_mouth: , if that’s the case put em in a bloody album :unamused: …ffs!
I can see the point of objecting to them ending up on e-bay, that’s a different matter.
Anybody that wants to view, use, re.post. or wipe your arse with, any photos that I have originally had then crack on! I couldn’t give a ■■■■, it’s getting like hanbags at dawn on this forum lately :unamused:

Heres another attempt at showing the Scania. This time theres no guard dog in the cab.
Let`s hope this time the scanner works . :unamused:

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

P.S. Sorry. . Back to the drawing board .
