Hi all anybody done a shift on here give me any pointers,first time on site will be 4am in the morning probably peeing it down an no one around 
Just take your time and do all the checks properly as they won’t expect you to take out anything that’s remotely illegal, you’ll probably end up visiting an RDC somewhere so unlucky. 
And then probably a collection to return with.
Bays can be tight if there’s a unit and trailer either side and across from you. Easy enough if its dropped trailers on the bays though.
There will be loads of people about at 04:00, there are vehicles starting at all times. You will need to go into the yard on foot via the HGV entrance, as you go through the barriers turn right up the side of bay 1 and up the steps into the warehouse, turn right and transport is first on the right.
They will give you maps for any drops you haven’t done before
Units are in the car park (you will need to walk round the way you came in)
Loaded trailers are usually backed up on the fence to the left in the yard but they could be still sitting on a bay
If you need any help see one of the shunters they are ok 
and there is a great chinese eating house up the street from them…
