Don’t know much about Lutterworth but Culina do like you to stick to all regs and speed limits and you are monitered for your driving habits good and bad so if you can put up with this and are good at keeping your head down below the radar then you should get on ok. Not sure if they do tramping there or just occasional nights out but all good kit which i think is mainly Volvo’s and there are some old ones (11 plate) which are soon to be replaced i believe, as i’m sure you know it’s an ambient depot. Not sure what they pay but should be around 30k salaried average 48 hr week but some depots do vary.

Like i said it varies from depot to depot but at our place you only get o/t if doing an extra day as we are salaried.

Anything from 8 to 12 but occasionally an odd 13 or 14 might might occur if it all goes reels of cotton, I run out of Avonmouth which is chilled and ambient Lutterworth is ambient only.

What would you say is the average shift length including all breaks. I often get tempted to apply for Culina coz the salary is decent and the trucks are good (probably naff inside like every other fleet truck though), plus the Wolverhampton depot is local to me. Don’t fancy spending hours a day on bays though when on salary.

It’s a 24/7 chilled operation so some start times are harsh some are nice it depends on what takes your fancy, I personally like 06.00 give or take but some of our drivers love 02.00 start.

Average shift length varies slightly between depots so can’t answer you there I’m afraid, Wolves as you probably know is ambient only with all Volvos.
Ambient only and all Volvo. Even better

You can tell them at the interview what your preferences are but they might be specifically looking for a particular start window. Like we are after night drivers therefore if you only want days don’t apply.
