Cuddly toys hanging off cars

Just noticed lately seen loads of boy racer type motors like saxos corsas etc with cuddly toys hanging from the towing eye on the back anyone else spotted this and what’s it about.

as i young person or classed as a boy racer… i do not have a clue why they are hanging soft toys off there car… the only thing i can think of is that they are in touch with there soft side■■?

I’m certainly not a young person, but my son is and he says it’s following a Japanese idea. One of their pastimes in cars ‘drifting’ and the idea is to get the soft toy going horizontally - shows how ‘good’ you are at it.

Just seeing what else I could find about it & this cropped up:

It’s usually the toys you get in a happy meal. Must be funny to see big tough boy racer, hoodie and cap on saying “can I have a happy meal please”

That jeep looks the ■■■■■■■■ :grimacing:

What about those on dustcarts? AKA “Tip Trophies”

I thought hanging thongs & garters that youd aquired from ladies, off your sun visor, or rear view mirror was the thing to do. Though Im not sure hanging a pair of Bridget Jones knickers up is a good idea*

*I wonder if someone will dare mis-quote the last line?

i do have a clue what your on about, its a japanese thing from the street drift/racing scene. though the lil boy racers in their pyoor minted novas and saxos have stole it, really its just a bit weird tbh

You know this thing the yoof have of wearing their trousers with the waistband halfway down their back sides, someone mentioned to me the other day that this originated from prisoners who wanted to show that they were gay and available for ■■■■■■. So it wouldn’t surprise me to hear that the fluffy dice under the car was a similar unfortunate modern take on fashion.
