Rehabilitation Act 1974, depending on job applied for you do not have to declare it unless asked by a potential employer under the discrimination act! or Equality act what ever you call it in England now … hence why you have Basic, Enhanced, and higher checks on CRB, I had to do the full monty for job I did prior to leaving UK and it involved law enforcement, I declared it because I was legally obliged to, but never had to do it when i drove on Agencies or bus driving years ago.
