Parked up in Medway services and the place is spotless. Spoke to a guy who was out emptying the bins and told him this has to be the cleanest services in the UK, told me there are 68 bins on the site so having them does work. He also said people regularly comment on how clean the place is so fair play to them for keeping it tidy and backs up the theory that if a place is tidy people will keep it that way.
Fair play. It winds me up when you see drivers lobbing rubbish out of their window. It winds me up even more when they do it when there is a bin in plain sight right in front of them! 
Driving through France the other month and most of the Parking areas if not all have massive deep open bins at the exit back onto the autoroute that you can just “lob” out of your window, simple but works.
What’s so hard about putting your rubbish in a carrier bag and putting it in a bin at the end of the week? It really does bug me people who drop litter & vandalise things people do to improve their environment etc. As for services I avoid them if possible, would much rather find a nice layby with a view of some cows.

im happier abroad in similar laybyes where they wear heels and thongs.
the big open skip at the end of the rest areas work well though.they should impliment them here and save some cabbage in a hi viz being sent out on litter patrol.
if there was no litter,there would be no litter pickeruppers and you would be putting someone else out of work.sling it out the window,and keep a ■■■■■■ in employment…or do what i do…keep it all wrapped up,then sling it out anywhere along the A75…

went in a month or so ago for a dump and the bogs where foul with a few traps out of order .ended up running down to smiths and grabbing the ■■■■■■■ key. still cant get used to calling it Medway services tho

I saw the very thing tonight in Tebay south…the services not the stop…JH Willis milk tanker from Wrexham lobbed his coffee cup and crap out of the window just opposite the fuel pumps the dirty toerag.
Mind you it was only 5 minutes til a bloke came round and picked it up.
Watch out for the ducks there,it’s a wonder they arn’t flattened by now.
